The most effective method to strengthen your shins is still the punching bag.

Nothing better than practice! Sparrings can help you strengthen your shins . This is obviously light sparring, especially if you are just starting out. But you can also just do a two-man kick exercise. With your partner, you can take turns doing low kicks to strengthen your shins . Do not hit too hard or you could injure yourself! This is a very good psychological and muscular exercise: your muscles harden and you learn to take it as you get used to the impacts.

Getting used to the pain is one of the good exercises for your shins .
